Celebrating 30 years LIFE in Bulgaria with a new forest
Tomorrow two units from the Northeast will celebrate 30 years of work under the LIFE Programme in Bulgaria. The teams of the State Forestry Unit – General Toshevo and the State Hunting Unit – Balchik have decided to create the forest of LIFE by planting seedlings grown in the forest nursery of the hunting unit in Balchik. The terrain on which the new forest will appear has been selected together with the municipal authority of General Toshevo, which has established a tradition for partnership co-work with foresters. Experts from the Regional Directorate of Forests in Varna will also join the initiative, organized by the employees as part of the celebration of Forest Week 2022.
